The School Leaver Awards by AllAboutSchoolLeavers celebrate the Top 100 employers on offer to young people at the beginning of their careers.
It is the biggest and best awards ceremony of its kind for school and college leaver employers, and the biggest night out in the early recruitment calendar. Based on the real-life experiences of apprentices and school leaver trainees, AllAboutSchoolLeavers rewards those employers who offer the best UK apprenticeships, school leaver programmes and sponsored degrees; as well as those who excel in areas such as job satisfaction, career progression, training and company culture.
There are also awards for the best employers in their particular industries, acknowledging the work being done in every area, from accounting and professional services, engineering and retail, to the creative industries and the public sector.
Getting involved is a great opportunity to be acknowledged for your hard work in the school leaver market, meet others in the industry, and keep up-to-date with the latest innovations.

How does it work?
Register for the Awards
Let’s start at the very beginning. The first step in becoming an award-winning company is to enter the awards. Simply fill out the entry form and the awards team will send you confirmation of registration.
Drop out the surveys to your apprentices
Once you are registered, the events team will send over your login details from 1st December. Send these login details to your apprentices and school leavers who can anonymously login and complete the survey. Once the apprentice or school leaver logs in they will be able to read the instructions on how to fill out the survey.
Nominate yourself or client for extra awards
The vast majority of the awards are based on the apprentice surveys, however, there are a small number of awards based on judging panels. You can nominate yourself or the organisation you represent. In order to nominate yourself please visit the nominations page to select the awards you would like to nominate yourself for and to read the requirements for each award.
Finalists are announced
Entries for the awards close on 30 March. We will announce the finalists on 15 April and the awards will be held on the evening of Thursday, 17 May 2018 so it will be time to get your glad rags ready for the biggest night in the school leaver calendar!
